Wagyu is a Japanese breed of cattle known for its rich, melt in your mouth flavor due to its higher level of marbling. The original is called A5 wagyu and is from Japan. Most you see in the US is American wagyu, which is what we carry. See Doddy Creek online for definition of what he raises.

Our wagyu beef is exclusively sourced from Doddy Creek Farms just outside of Nashville in Tullahoma, TN. Our juicy High River Angus is raised in Iowa and is the best quality we could find that could meat the demand. Some pork is local.

We release our exotic meat selection every Thursday morning on a first-come-first-serve basis. We recommend getting to the shop early!

If you have a large order, giving us a heads up may reduce your wait time but not entirely necessary. You can sip on a cold beverage from our beer tap while you wait!

Yes! If you need large quantities or are looking for a specialty cut or exotic meat we will do our best to accommodate you!

We offer a variety of cheeses, eggs, ice cream, crackers, oils and seasonings. But tofu burgers or fake meat, that’s a hard no.

Yes, we occasionally season some select meats to allow customers to sample our rubs and seasonings.

We also make our own sausages in house and use edible casings.

Yes, lump charcoal is available.

Yes, we deliver large bulk or catering orders.

Absolutely! Please call ahead so we can ensure availability in your specific quantities and cuts.

Our meat comes to us processed; however, we do perform fresh, specialty cuts and can grind larger cuts into hamburger beef on site.
